An Intresting Observation And A Correction

The Correction: It was my grandparent's 60th anniversary, not their 50th.

Can I just say again WOW. That just...blows my mind. I can't imagine living with the same person everyday for sixty years and not wanna bash one of our head's in at some point. Compare that to my Mom's parents, who were never married to anyone for more then a few years ( Read more... )

/o\ Those instant allergies are a bitch. O_o The drinking water thing could potentially be serious. Also, I can't imagine not being able to go swimming. I would...I don't know. I've been swimming since I was about two months old (no really, my mum started us early). Best of all, to him.

Also, *hugs* Good to see you around again :)

::nods:: Our mom did the same, we all grew up in pools. That's why this hit Geoff and I so hard emotionaly. Now we can only swim in lakes, but around here, lakes are cold year round, so... Also, I have a fear of sea weed/lake weed, so I have an even harder time swimming in lakes.

I use a filter for drinking water as a rule, but when they do do a round of chlorination, I have to drink bottled water and boil all my water to do camp baths, 'coz I can't shower. It's no fun.

Gah. That's horrible. And yes, having lived in WA state, I know how cold those lakes are. *shiver*

Wow. I can't imagine having a sudden allergy like that, and certainly not to something as pervasive as chlorine. My hayfever sucks as is, and my skin is already stupidly sensitive. Let's not go there shall we?

Hi! Miss you! You going to be at HC?
