Wow it's been a while since I've done one of these. TIME FLIES. I'm not sure how often I'll update these seeing as I work like 40-45+ every week, but hopefully it won't be another 6 month break like last time ha ha ha. WOO. ANYWAY UNDERTALE.
coming up are two of my favourite characters
which I'll probably say a lot throughout Undertale, because I love all of these idiots

the music here is very quiet and creepy, and first time playing i was feeling very anxious, especially after just having a talk with my best friend flowey
you can inspect the stick and I think it basically tells you that it's too heavy to carry. I WAS OBVIOUSLY TOO IMPATIENT TO INVESTIGATE THOUGH

I think this was it? It's basically Papyrus singing his own little song with sans butting in. Might have some minor spoilers in the song, i only listened to around 20seconds of it haha
either way, most of the youtube videos don't have toooo much differences in how they voice sans and papyrus. Sans sometimes sounds a bit like some sort of old 1960's gangsta though which doesn't fit how I see him, this sans version is kindaa how i hear him. Just a low voice that sounds like his trying to be stupid, but you know he's really just trying to wind you up. (WELL ITS WORKING SANS I HOPE YOURE HAPPY NOW *yeah dead happy)

its so sans to say something ridiculously stupid but then also its NOT stupid because of course if Papyrus did look at the lamp he would realise OH MY GOODNESS THERE IS A HUMAN CHILD HIDING BEHIND IT but of course sans knows that Papyrus is not going to listen to him because it was a comment so out of nowhere and outright ridiculous
he's stamping his foot here, hopefully it should come through on the next few 'caps

This is the music that starts playing at this point. Snowy! I think it captures a snowy mountainscape pretty well. It's a carefree, crisp sounding tune that sounds a lot like snow falling.
[spoilers!]Here is the genocide version of snowy. I really quite like this version as well, it still captures the same feel, but its muffled and a little distorted. I like that it's slowed right down, it really captures the beginning of madness pretty well

what I love here is that Papyrus - who's goal is to capture a human to get himself essentially promoted and have friends - when he first sees you, instead of y'know actually CAPTURING YOU he just goes off on some excited monologue and runs away to prepare his traps. hes like the mastermind goofy villian that no one ever takes seriously
