So already even back here, you've got hints about how Toriel lived with other people and how one of them was most likely her child. Plus the flower seeds thing is very much a big hint towards Flowey too. It even looks similar to Flowey. I don't think anyone would ever put the two and two together though, at least not this early on.

all of her attacks just go down either side, so you can sit in the middle without being hit. Throughout the fight she's been properly fighting you and trying to get you to stop, but because you've just stood there and taken it without fighting back, it's just making her lose the will to fight you, because who want's to attack a child that's just literally just standing there and letting you do it because they don't want to hurt you
I'm imagining T just giving her this really sad but understanding look which just makes Toriel feel really guilty. Like I don't think T is looking scared or anything right now
and now you're making her feel guilty for doing all of this, even though she's doing it for YOU, why can't you understand!
and now instead of being angry we're just making her sad
she's literally begging you to not leave

This also reiterates what I said earlier about how Toriel is just a lonely goat moomin who really wants some company, and seeing as she always wanted to be a teacher, of course she would love to have a small child who she could look after and teach. She knows though that any child that comes down is always going to want to leave because of those exact reasons that they would feel trapped down in the ruins and part of them I think would always blame Toriel for that. I'm sure that's a burden Toriel could live with, seeing as she's just doing what she thinks is best, but deep down she knows that this isn't really what is best for you, but just wishes it was.
I have deep feels for Toriel, she's more scared for you than you are for you hahaha.
im not sure why she says this. Maybe she's doing it to make you more determined to leave? Like she's not giving you that option of "safety" back with her - Toriel is just essentially telling you that you have to be strong to make it outside, and you won't be strong if you keep relying on her as a safety net.
