That's Cuthbert, alright. I got The Gunslinger Born a few weeks back, and it's very good - a shorter version of the flashback from Wizard and Glass. There were a few moments when the pictures of Cuthbert sort of shocked me, and I realised eventually that he looks more or less exactly like my mental image of a young Sirius Black.

The Gunslinger Born is the first volume, innit? You bought it locally or ordered from somewhere? Cuthbert kind of shocked me as well, but that's because he is nothing like my mental image of his.

They were selling it in Easons a few weeks back, and I had some spare book tokens, so it was either that or an extremely dog-eared and torn copy of the first Heroes comics. I think I made the right choice. ;)

lovely skulls. The burnt up body was a nice touch, classy. Bit ekkkkkk, but nice.

only got as far as book #1, since i was restricted in the amount of books i could bring with me, and terry pratchett's were further above in the list :P

but i'm going back in march/april, with a big suitcase :E
