James

Might I suggest that you talk to someone involved about this, say follow the grievance procedure.... (sorry had to be said)

But honestly, this sounds like an on-going issue that should be addressed, as I'm certain you aren't the only person being effected.

I HAVE talked to people about this locally. the new crop of people seem to totally disregard the people who have been around for some time. Consequently they make all of the same mistakes we made 20 years ago but found answers to. This is not a grievance issue as it isn't anyone one person in particular. but simply one much like my kids who think they know everything and really don't.

That sucks.

I notice a lack of site heralds, in general, or is it just me? i.e. A site herald could have announced "judging to commence forth with, speak up now if, entry not over there" and at the coronet events I have been too, I have seen list heralds , but nothing for A&S contest starting in 10 minutes or one for fencing, etc. Site Heralds are very useful for changes in scheduling announcments too.

Yep, people now 'assume' everyone was at that meeting where the two people who attended decided when things would happen.

Routinely the schedules posted online and in the site handout do not reflect how things actually transpire.

There is a serious lack of site heralding these days. Mainly because most experience heralds are gone or taking huge breaks from overload.
