Oh, it's currently 60 degrees out. Tomorrow? 65 degrees. Thursday? 70 degrees. In Dallas on Friday? 71, and Saturday is 77 degrees. What a nice break from the cold up north. :D -

I'm in Lake Charles, LA. My room smells slightly mildewy like some water got in during the hurricane, which is completely likely. I got a recommendation from the girl at the front desk for a place for a manicure. My nails and cuticles are suffering, so I'm taking advantage of getting off work early ( Read more... ) -

Work was relaxing yet busy today. It was nice working with such friendly people. I always forget the big difference between northeast and down south. I got to see a lot of destruction of the city, including water lines going up above the roof lines of houses which was crazy. Made it to Mom's, ate Taco Bell, grabbed additional food and made it back home by 5:30. We got out at 3:20 or so. That's not a bad turnaround considering traffic. The house is pretty much spotless.. What exactly do you do when you've tried to get people you really want to get to know to hang out with you and they're not responding? When do you just stop trying?
