(no subject)
Made it to Mom's, ate Taco Bell, grabbed additional food and made it back home by 5:30. We got out at 3:20 or so. That's not a bad turnaround considering traffic. The house is pretty much spotless.. I think this is the cleanest it's ever been. Maybe that's just because we keep clearing out more and more crap we don't need. ;) Either way, the place is all vacuumed and HOLY SHIT Paul is actually cleaning up his desk area. *grin* Hell, I even have the laundry going (and is almost done) so we'll be able to RELAX until I have to pack. :D
Although, I'm going to have to write to the apartment complex and tell them that the paint shit they used on the shower walls is fading (not to mention there are tacky spots where it ran down and dried without someone smoothing it down. Bastards.
It's gonna be weird not having Mom here. I'm not so worried anymore about cooking but this is the first time I'm gonna be having Thanksgiving without her, and she hasn't even moved yet! At least I have some of her yummy food!
The 80's channel is on the TV. We've been singing along for an hour or so.
