I wrote another one! And this one isn't even too ridiculously long. Things I've learnt: it's very difficult to write close 3rd person POV from the point of view of someone who's telepathic.

GOD, this is good. God, you're good. It's like--I said a slice of what you want to show the reader, right? This is that, exactly, better than I've ever managed in any of the ones I've written--this is so so perfect and I love it so so so much. The awkwardness of Brian's telepathy, the way we get exactly what happened beforehand without having seen it, the way Brian can't help but to give Bob hope--I love your writing, did I ever tell you that? And I love the way you write them. Always and forever, etc., amen. ♥

See now, this makes perfect sense. ^____^ Although, yes, thank you for addressing the one issue I have with telepathy - I'm easy enough to read as it is, thank you. But in fandom, the knowing, or the work so damn hard to keep it secret? Oh, yes, yes please. *_____* Basically, everything that would drive me crazy in RL is what I love about telepaths in fic. And you encapsulated it all here, in such a short space. ♥

It's a shame that Brian can't read his own mind because he would have appreciated a heads up that his response was going to be really far too honest. :D Oh, so not going to lie. Loved that line. ♥
