This! Whole thing was rigged you could tell from when they got rid of gabrielle, things that go for some girls don't work for others it makes them look dull and lifeless.

This kind of inconsistency and blatant hypocrisy is a large part of ANTM's charm. You just have to embrace it and laugh.

My take is that most of their advice is useless and modeling is extremely subjective. What one judge might think is hideous, another might think is beautiful and thusly can't give solid, constructive criticism. Also, a lot of the judge's advice is so vague and unhelpful.

It's all subjective.

At least on shows like say, American Idol, even though there is some degree of subjectivity there is some degree of objectivity because a contestant can be on-pitch or not. In a photo-shoot there's no "on point" necessarily like there is in singing, dancing or even acting, it's all "in the eye of the beholder" like a painting.

I think they just didn't even try to pretend or hide the rampant favoritism. ALT made the most absolutely ridiculous judgement calls I have ever seen on this show. Furthermore he practicalled coerced the other judges to go along with his opinion. I really think he is major part of the problem as to why this cycle was so bad. I went so far as to write to the CW saying that if he is a judge for next cycle, I'll refuse to watch, and I will keep my end of that bargain.

Are you one of those people who still clings to the notion that ANTM is a genuine modeling competition? It ain't. It's about a bunch of crazy girls being puppeted around and emotionally manipulated into fights, freakouts and crying jags.

i agree, although I'm gonna watch regardless-- i'd watch it if it were the angelea and alt making people feel bad show (actually, that sounds great)
