You know, as much as I disliked Brenda's reaction to her haircut, she's absolutely right about everything. Cutting her hair did make her look older, and it was super hypocritical of the program to cut her hair and then be like "Oh you look so old now!" Duh! I also can't imagine what it must have felt like to have all that long hair chopped off against your will.

And Anslee's comment about the editing of the scene where supposedly no one was clapping for her was pretty insightful. She was right about Alasia being favored, but at least she's gone now. And she's spot on about Raina (looking the same a lot) and Krista rising up.

For reals. It isn't the first time they've given a girl an 'old' haircut, then complained she looked old. I think maybe... Renee?? I don't know. I've a terrible memory for past cycles, but I do know it's something I've observed.

A lot of the things Anslee says about Krista leads me to believe that Krista might be the winner--the fact that she can't get ahold of her, the commetn about "in the next couple of shows, she's really going to show everybody what she's capable of." I mean, it's not such a stretch to think that Krista wouldn't call up her friends from the show and be like "GIRL, I WON!" after it was all over.

I mean, realistically, I think Krista and Raina are the only girls that could possibly win at this point. Alexandra's portfolio isn't strong enough, Jessica isn't very well liked by the judges, and Angelea is the villain and the villain never wins, no matter how talented (just ask Melrose, Jade, Renee and Camille)

I would think that the moderators of the interviews would have made her shut up about that kind of thing though, though I do have my suspicions about Krista. She has been getting a very good edit as of the drag runway episode.

I think with short hair it depends on how they cut it and the model's facial structure. When I cut my hair to the all-too recognized "Mia Farrow Rosemary's Baby" style I knew I would look younger, and I did.
Brenda had her hair cut much like Simone's, and Simone didn't look older because she looked fresh in the first place, she looked younger. I think unfortunately Brenda's lips were her demise in making her look older. That and Tyra really shouldn't be the one who tells people what kind of makeover they should get.

Yeah, imo Brenda just has an older looking bone structure. She reminds me of models from the 80s.
