Brenda and Anslee's interviews with LA Times

'America's Next Top Model': Brenda says Angelea was 'intimidated by me'The “America’s Next Top Model” house is definitely missing a den mother with Brenda leaving the show last week. With the house divided into two groups in the last episode, I called one “Team Brenda” and the other “Team Angelea ( Read more... )

A lot of the things Anslee says about Krista leads me to believe that Krista might be the winner--the fact that she can't get ahold of her, the commetn about "in the next couple of shows, she's really going to show everybody what she's capable of." I mean, it's not such a stretch to think that Krista wouldn't call up her friends from the show and be like "GIRL, I WON!" after it was all over.

I mean, realistically, I think Krista and Raina are the only girls that could possibly win at this point. Alexandra's portfolio isn't strong enough, Jessica isn't very well liked by the judges, and Angelea is the villain and the villain never wins, no matter how talented (just ask Melrose, Jade, Renee and Camille)

I would think that the moderators of the interviews would have made her shut up about that kind of thing though, though I do have my suspicions about Krista. She has been getting a very good edit as of the drag runway episode.

I don't get how Angelea is the villain...she's just misunderstood. And wasn't Eva sort of a villain in her cycle?

Angelea starts shit with everybody. I don't think that's "misunderstood". Eva and Whitney were both considered the villains of their cycle by the girls who were on the show with them, but they got much better edits than Angelea is getting.

Well...a villain's a villain, so that makes your villains theory flawed :P. Go, Angelea~~~

Not necessarily. If you buy into what the edit is peddling you probably believe that Yaya, in her way was the villain of Cycle 3 and Eva was the reformed badgirl, and that Dominique and Fatima were the villains of Cycle 10 and Whitney was just an outspoken plus-sized girl who finally took the crown. This cycle has had its sharing of unpleasant girls, but no one has taken malevolence to the level that Angelea has: she's very obviously the villain.

Villain Theory: Not Flawed. :P

No one has taken malevolence to the level Angelea has? Seriously? Ever heard of Camille? lol. Even Elina was more malevolent than Angelea. Anyway, I don't think Angelea's being malicious...she just wants to intimidate her competitors, which is quite a nice strategy on her part.

And villain theory still flawed, 'cause if the villain never wins then Eva would've never won............ :P lol

haha Way to totally ignore everything I just explained. My villain theory is solid; all things considered, Eva got a pretty good edit. :P

I meant no one has been as bad as her this cycle. I would totally call her malicious; all that shit she pulled with Brenda? Totally malicious. She's a bitch; she was a bitch on Cycle 12, she's a bitch on Cycle 14, that's just the way it is.

I think you might be mistaking ghetto for bitch...She really didn't do too much to Brenda except stare at her that one time and talk behind her back in the confessionals the rest of the time. Jessica was being pretty malicious to Alasia for a bit, but I don't see you calling her a bitch :).

And I didn't ignore what you 'explained'...Eva may have gotten a good edit, but she was a villain all the way til the end. Therefore, theory flawed (I do realize we can't agree on this...so, yeah, lol)!

Also, Elina wasn't malevolent: she was self-entitled and annoying. Sam was the same way. They were just two annoying people who were annoyed by each other. Sheena and Marjorie were just casualties to their feud.

Eh. I wouldn't say villain, but she's definitely catty and bitchy. And unlike other girls who are like that, she's not getting any positive light on her personality. That's not why she probably won't win though. She probably won't win because she has the biggest and most elaborate backstory of the rest of them.

As much as I hate her, if I recall, her runway walk was at least decent (where as Raina and Alex's both are eh), so maybe she should be standing next to Krista in the f2. She just won't win because she's regressing and I'm sure the editors know that the majority of the viewers want to watch her cry.

Idk, she's doing well in the competition. Whether or not I like her photos is almost arbitrary. I just dislike her because I think she's unattractive and annoying.
