I think that they never will have a plus size winner. Even if they're good, they'll be eliminated on personality or photogenic grounds. The closest ANTM got to having a plus-size winner was Robyn of season one and she made it to fourth.

You know, a friend of mine pointed something out to me about that that I find to be very true. It's really unfair that they even have plus size models on Top Model in the first place, because the fashion shows that the girls do once it gets down to the final three are high-fashion (supposedly), and a plus size model would never fit into those clothes. It's like they're setting them up to lose!

And that really sucks, 'cause I love my plus-size girls. :)

from what i understand, the agency they have represent the winner doesn't even have plus-size divisions, or if they do they're tiny and in the middle of nowhere.

yeah like if it was a real designer idk how they wouldhave a enough time to make adjustments on the clothes and find the right sizes and stuff.

It seems to me that in the past 4 cycles the runner up is always first in the opening order. I didn't think it applied anymore and it was just a coincidence when I read spoilers that Jenah was the runner up this cycle, but it ended up being Chantal.

Cycle 1 - Shannon
Cycle 2, Cycle 3, Cycle 4 & Cycle 5 - didn't have this
Cycle 6 - Joanie
Cycle 7 - Melrose
Cylce 8 - Natasha
Cycle 9 - Chantal

Maybe it's just a coincidence.

That's exactly what I was about to post. And 6 was freaky too; it went Joanie, Jade, Sara, Furonda as the first four girls and ended with Dani(elle).

My mum always says, that in cycle 8, the minute that tyra said to natasha "How do you feel about being in a competition for AMERICA'S next top model, and being from russia?" (did tyra call her an immigrant? i cant remember)

that she wasnt going to win. Cause there might have been controversy around that D8

I 100% believe that Tyra will include a black girl in every final three. This has been true every cycle except 8, which had Natasha and Jaslene so it's not like it was lacking in minorities, and 1, in which Tyra was pushing for Robin to get F3 according to Elyse but Tyra couldn't justify it.

I firmly believe plus-size girls will get 7th-9th place. Tyra will keep them until then if they don't have talent, and she'll cut them if they do have talent due to "losing personality".

I'm still sticking with my winners theory. Every 3 cycles will have a black winner, every 2 cycles will have a winner of Latina heritage (unless it intersects with a 3rd cycle), and the rest of the cycles will have white winners.

And by asian do you mean far east (I hate to say this, but oriental) or south asia? Or other parts of asia my tired mind can't remember?

I've always had a theory that the winner of last cycle has an effect on who wins this cycle. It doesn't hold up all the time, but check this out
