What is Jaslene supposed to be? The "alternative" kid? Why the bomber hat? I'm confused ...

Seriously, though, that chick is a MODEL, and if they give her the no-personality edit, I'm going to be PISSED. I mean, she's a total queen, how could she not have a personality?

*nods* that was totally what i was thinking. The TWP review compares her to Ally Sheedy, and that's so not it at all! She's totally doing Judd Nelson in that photo, and it is fabulous. :)

I agree with the previous commenters who are done with the theme shoots. I think it's fun every once and awhile, but as someone said in the ONTD thread - modelling is about selling a PRODUCT, they should really let the girls do more mainstream shoots. But then again, it's not as much about being a model as it is the wacky reality show aspect.

That said, I think Diana is super super boring, even though here she looks a little like Phoebe Cates. Also, Renee is so bipolar, wildly cocky one minute and then trembly and full of excuses the next. YES, IT'S A CONSPIRACY, everyone's plotting against you, Renee.

Yes, but sometimes in order to sell it they have to act out a part. These themes are just making sure the girls can "act". Modeling much more than just standing there looking hot.. and boring.

not really. Most photoshoots with the top models of the moment, the model has a blank stare.

i take themes over those odly done commercial shoots...like when they were paintings to sell lotion...

i don't like the photoshoot, i don't like the concept of photoshoot
could they please hire somebody else to make creative decisions about photosoot? even Tyra was so much better
looks like the guy have no fantasy whatsoever, some crazy cliche stuff - it's too boring

I haven't seen this episode yet and I wasn't expecting good photos based on the theme, but some are really great. Jaslene! Love her! I like Jael's, too.
