Valeria.
[There is an edge to his voice that can't quite be hidden, one of urgency and maybe something more, something steely. But for the most part, Souji is as composed as ever.]
You went to get him.
How is he, now?
[SEEKERS OF TRUTH // 95%]
Adachi has come back.

Kanji-kun, if we tell people, we have no guarantee that they'll believe us. Two other people in Demeleier know about him - Valeria, and Schneizel. Both have agreed not to say anything, but both have agreed this is the best way to deal with things.
We have no proof. And even we, personally, can't keep him locked up all the time. It's just not feasible here.

Who the hell cares if they're believin' us or not?! We just needta smash 'em while we got the chance! [ Push the bastard in. ]

[Because it's his - it's their responsibility. Or something.]
If he steps out of line, we'll be waiting. But we can't just act against him without reason. He has a chance here. If he wants to ruin that, it is not going to be our fault.

[He gives a sigh. Yosuke doesn't just want to tell those two all about it; he wants to tell everyone. He wants everyone in the village to be on their side, on their guard, and watching Adachi's every move. He doesn't want to risk something - anything - happening because they slipped up and Adachi managed to kill, hurt, or - or - whatever another person.
But - on the other hand... Souji knew best. Souji always knew best. He knew what to do in difficult situations where they didn't have all the facts, all the control, all the time.
"Calm the hell down!"
He's silent for a long moment, but then he sighs, softly.]
But you know best, leader. You've never been wrong before. And... hell, even if I hate it, I'll go along with it.
[He tries to smile.]
I got your back, partner.

[Without a hint of reproach, of course. But Zelda - dammit. He wants to tell her, at least. Especially with the timeskip - Adachi potentially more volatile, more liable to snap. It's not something he wants her to have to deal with, especially when she is something of a figurehead in the village.
He wants to tell Yosuke that he understands. That he feels the same way. But instead he just nods.]
Thanks, Yosuke.

Standing with her back to the hut's door and her eyes to the village, she briefly contemplates how best to answer Souji's inquiry. She wants to say that Adachi is 'stable,' but more often than not, he's... somewhere else, completely and utterly distracted from the present. By what, she doesn't know; she can guess, but nowhere near accurately enough to be any real help to him, so when she speaks, she speaks softly, quietly. ]I don't think I'm going to be able to leave him on his own for a while, Souji. I don't think I can trust him to eat if I'm not here, let alone sleep or do anything else ( ... )

I'll make sure that your shifts on the watch are covered. Is there anything else that you'd like me to take care of?

[ And the rest goes unsaid due in part because she knows she doesn't have to say, to tell him how to do it. That the sentiment is conveyed is enough, but -- ]
You were the one who contacted Myhrta, were you not? Thank you.
