NaNoWriMo update

I have decided to default on my NaNoWriMo for this year. Right now I just feel like taking things slowly and since it's a new fandom I want to start small. In my novel there is a 'sub-plot' which is great for a one-shot about Sherlock's experiments. So I will still write, it's just it will be a short story instead. Then Nano was a success for you--signing up and deciding to do it taught you something, and that is awesome. :)

I wonder if you'd like Whitechapel? It is pretty cool, detective but w/police, and there are two mini-series (so far, hopefully more). The first is based on Jack the Ripper and the second on the Cray (or Kray?) brothers who pretty much ruled London in the 50-60's. I absolutely loved it (and there is a tiny fandom though I haven't ready any yet.)

I should post about that series as I really loved it.

I'm at around 23k words, which is awesome. At this point I care more about finishing the ms which I started almost two years ago, whether or not that takes me to 50k. :)

I have seen Whitechapel but only the 1st series. Earlier this year the ABC showed it here and is now available on DVD. Seeing it being talked about on Twitter actually makes me want to watch it again. I really enjoyed it and hope that the ABC will show the second series. The man who plays the DI used to be in Spooks/MI5.
