I'm now getting on with my MBABB fic by starting from the beginning. As it is going to be a dark story, it's fitting to have the beginning quite dark. Sounds interesting. Do you think Jack was messed up from World War I?

I'm not sure when his wife in the picture was supposed to have died. Spanish Flu, I've heard, but am not sure if fans just think that or if it was in some info from the show.

Yeah plus another incident that happened the early 20s (the story is set in 1926-7) which I will make up.

I have this personal canon that doesn't involve the wife since I always thought it was from the 19th century that picture.
