She was just a child when he had shown up in her backyard. Amelia had let him into her home and curiously watched as he ate and spat out various meals. It was odd to watch him eat fish fingers with custard while she ate her ice cream. Then he fixed her crack and left promising to come back in five minutes.
Twelve years and four psychiatrists later, he was back following her down the street with questions about why she had told him six months.
