I have to be careful with wishful thinking, especially when Jack found me drowning in the bathtub. I wished never for him to find me, to think that I wanted to leave the world behind, to leave him. No words were spoken when I finally woke up to find him lying beside me, waiting for the ambulance to arrive. Only tears coming down his cheeks.

He never speaks to me anymore, except to ask for a coffee. During sex he is much gentler but no words are spoken just pleasurable sounds.

I wish I could turn back time.
