I grew up in that area of the West, so I wanna see this.

Well, after years and years of dumping all the shitty movies in the early spring/fall period they shouldn't be surprised that people skip going to movies at that time.

If the movie industry is trying to reverse that trend and put good movies out all year around (which I think is a great idea) it's going to take some time (and lots of potential lost profit) before the general public realizes good movies come out during those months again.

Of course, and touche. The real culprit here is the studios. Sadly, that's not the way it's going to go. Lost profit on two movies should be enough to drive everyone back into their holes.
