I am curious: which of the nominated movies, in 2000, did you think deserved to be there?

Out of those movies I liked Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon best.

I also liked Gladiator, and I don't care if people make fun of me but I liked Erin Brockovich too.

Of the nominated movies I'd have to go with Crouching Tiger. Traffic would've been my second pick, but it was far too long and nowhere near Soderbergh's perfect Out of Sight.

Hey, I like Chocolat. But then again, I damn near own every Johnny Depp movie.

As for Gladiator, well, my love for history put a huge fucking dent in it to begin with, but I still managed to enjoy it as its own story.
