A good review. I liked this movie too. I saw it several years ago (like way before Spider-Man) and it's always stuck out in my mind as a unique movie. A simple idea, but with some complexities thrown in that make it more than a simple popcorn flick.

I really went and watched it RIGHT THEN! I'd forgotten so much about it. So good! I think I'd only give it a 4 out of 5 though; mainly because I found Tobey Maguire slightly annoying the second time round.

Funny story about that.. when the movie originally came out in theatres, a few of us were kinda excited about it, because it looked so damn cool. We were working a night shift job at the time, where we didn't get off work 'til 3 in the AM.

So after work we go to buddy's place, play poker 'til like 8 in the morning, go for breakfast / lunch or something, & then go see a matinee of this movie with no sleep. I was sooooooo into the movie & the tension build-up in the pacing of that scene was so perfect, that when the tree asploded, I jumped out my seat & yelled "YESSSSSSS!"
