Kaiba was of course informed, his security staff would be out of a job if they failed to pass the information on to their employer. And as soon as Pegasus had been spotted entering the building, Kaiba had been informed. As such he had Isono at his side, as much as anything as a foil to Croquet. They could glare at each other and enjoy themselves that way. he had just finished what he was doing, knowing that trying to get anything done when Pegasus was around was utterly futile, when his visitor breezed in.
"Date?" he asked, looking up at Pegasus scathingly.
The older man knew better than to take offence to such things by now. He sat back in his chair, gesturing to the one on the opposite side of the desk as he did. He ignored the foolishness for now.
Croquet fell into his usual pattern of keeping all the exits in view and staring down Kaibas help while his Master prattled on as if the younger CEO wasn't trying to glare a hole through him.
"Oh yes, you remember when I tweeted about coming to Domino this week and you said that you'd like to take me out? So of course here I am, and there's a lovely new Italian place that I've been just dying to try. It's time for your lunch break by now, isen't it Kaiba dear?"
Pegasus was pretty sure that when Kaiba said 'Good, I can finally take you out." He was actually using his dry sarcastic wit to threaten his life, but only a fool would pass up a chance for good lasagna.
He smiled sunnily and leaned both hands on Kaibas desk so that he could loom over him with his almost threateningly bright attitude.
"I'm going to get you out of this office today whether you like it or not."
Kaiba couldn't help the irritated twitch as Pegasus pointed out what he had said, and knew damn well that the older man had deliberately twisted that just to vex him. So he took a deep breath, and tried to keep his temper.
"You do realise I do not have time for this nonsense. You're here for a reason, I would prefer you to get to it." he stated bluntly.
Though Pegasus of course was not going to take no for an answer.
"If I give you an hour for lunch, will that satisfy you?"
He knew that if he dug his heels in too hard, Pegasus would make the rest of the day an utter write off.
"Now that's the spirit! An hour will be a good start!"
Pegasus declared and started heading back towards the door like the whirlwind he was.
"Come on now, don't dawdle Kaiba-boi. I've made reservations for twelve and it's already half past."
He waved a hand at him as if he expected him to jump just like one of his servants. Croquet for his part was smart enough to already be moving ahead to hold the door.
"I do actually have something for you today, but it's something you'll have to earn with good behavior whilst we're out."
Pegasus sang at him and waved a finger as he waited for him to catch up.

"So to what honour do I owe this visit?"
