Don't most rebellions start with a betrayal?

I've been quite good lately, with going to the gym and occasionally eating foods that aren't chocolate (shut up, it was Easter).  I even lost a few pounds, which is really really hard for me.  I started getting into the groove of workouts and conquered the damned elliptical machine - things were good.

My body seems to have regrouped after its ( Read more... )

Honestly, I have a fight with my body EVERY time I leave the gym. Without fail. And it is beyond frustrating, but eventually it gets better, and then I go through it all again the next time.
Just be careful. Nothing wrong with taking things slow!!

Normally after the first fifteen minutes of working out (which always blow, always) endorphins kick in and I feel strong, powerful, and amazing for a couple hours after that, and it helps me to endure everything else. Not so much yesterday, where I felt like I might faint, throw up, or die at pretty much any time.

I think maybe I'll go to the gym but just do elliptical machine today. Seems like I should back on the horse, right? But maybe not push it too far...

When I am nauseaus at the gym, it typically means I am dehydrated. maybe drink more water before and during?
Also, I passed out once at the gym, and my trainer said it was because I hadn't eaten enough beforehand. He went and got me a Dannon Light & FIt yogurt (only 60 calories, and now I sound like a commercial) because he said it digests quickly. The past 3 weeks or so I have had one an hour before my workout, and have had zero problems!
Just throwing it out there in the hopes that it will help.

I started back at the gym on Wednesday with a half hour on the elliptical and forty five minutes of swimming. (Which was really me just floating around the pool a lot cause I had it all to myself) It had been awhile and my legs during the swimming felt like the fat was swishing all around. I stayed in the shallow end a lot.

Maybe you're getting a cold. Do you have forced air heat? Cause that can dry your nose out and cause a nose bleed. I've had three nose bleeds this winter.

Could be. My apartment feels like it's about three feet from the sun, and has steam pipes and those massive radiators. Perhaps more notable, so does the gym, which was about a thrillion degrees yesterday. Thanks for reminding me about that - I'm gonna ask them when they start turning fans on when I go today.
