I'm so glad you paired this up with the second version of the story 'cause that one was like a soothing balm after the first one. I love the conversation between confused/befuddled Spike and the wacked out/oxygen-deprived Xander. Can't wait to see what develops between the two of them, what with Spike openly admitting to admiring the Xan-man and Xander's new vista on life - and of course, their mutual goal in life: adverting apocalypses and tormenting Angel! =)

As far as the first one, I struggled for a long time with that Andrew bit and almost dropped it. I'm glad I didn't, though, because I think it really drives home Xander's death in the first one.
As for the second one, I'm glad you liked the Spike/Xander convo there, I had fun with that. *g*

I definitely think it was a good idea to include the first part b/c I don't think I would have appreciated the second one quite as much if I didn't see Xan's death through Andrew's devastated/bleak eyes.
Will you write a sequel or make this a series? *hint-hint* *nudge-nudge*
