I've never had to live with or even near cockroaches, but when I went in for all my allergy testing years ago, the doc informed me that I was allergic to them. Maybe you're showing an allergic reaction since it looks so much worse than just a bug bite? Try taking some Benedryl and see if it gets any better.

DUDE i'm in austin too!

there was a huge roach in my kitchen last night. it skittered between the fridge and the wall... i'm still a little scared to walk by the fridge. i'm paranoid that it's going to jump out at me!
