Hey guys, remember me? I'm the chick who had the massive hive attack a couple weeks ago. Well, the hives have gone away but since then I've developed something called dermatographic urticaria (or more commonly known as "skin writing"). It's not super TMI, but it's kinda cool, so I figured I would share. :)

Couple pics under here )

When I was a kid, I used to have nightmares that I would break out in hives and they would go concave in instead. :S:S:S

Yeah. Apparently my morbid imagination thought it would be cool to collect rainwater with them. xD

I had this the last time I got poison ivy. my mom thought it was funny to write things like "kick me" on my back and let the dog/cat walk on me and leave paw prints

Ahahaha oh god this for as long as I can remember. If I take two different meds every night I'm mostly okay except for some kinda itchy pink patches if I'm scratched by something rough, but oh god if I forget. x___x

My SO is currently on the other side of the country, and before bed we usually talk on the phone for a while. When I have nothing to do with my hands they tend to wander, which is fine while I'm in bed with someone else, but if it's just me... Last night, we were having a very serious conversation which took a turn for the dumb when I absentmindedly scratched a spiral onto my ribcage. Ooops. >__> Spent the next few minutes mumbling expletives and trying not to scratch and make it worse, haha. Everyone else is weirded out by it, but she just laughs at me.

Eeeeeek Zyrtec is expensive, isn't it? *grumble* We'll see how long I can put up with it. But yes! That's how I was with my back last night. I didn't even realize what was going on until my back looked like *that*. I then proceeded to slather myself in topical Benadryl and just wait until it stopped itching. It's a never ending cycle! Gah!

And that totally sounds like something my boyfriend would do. I would have KILLED HIM. When I wrote my name on my arm above, I waited about an hour before I went out to do some Christmas shopping, and it still hadn't gone away, so I had to put on a long sleeved shirt so I didn't look like a freak. :(
