I do not know your Simon, but I have a bad history with doctors. This gives me a bit of a...knee-jerk reaction to them. Assuming you know what that means...

Addictions are addictions, and I am certain that someone suffering from withdrawal would not mind a minor reprieve.

Thankfully, my abilities kept me from being properly reliant on them, but they are...useful. Breathing smoke and nicotine is much better than breathing pain and emotional distress, I can promise you.

I wouldn't know. Never tried them. The doctors back at home always told my parents to keep away from them, and told me to also.

And they smell like shit.

That logic might work...if the powers came back immediately. It takes at least a week, and you're more likely to end up dead if you try and remove the chip yourself, regenerative capabilities or not.

I do not like doctors as a rule, but I can handle seeing one if I have to. It would not be the first time, although it is a rare occurrence.

And yes, I can. With enough concentration, I can mend skin and cure illness and knit bone back together with some careful physical contact and energetic channeling. Do you not have proper healers in this place?
