All right, apparently there is something implanted in my neck that is keeping me from using my abilities, and I want to get rid of it. As soon as possible

That logic might work...if the powers came back immediately. It takes at least a week, and you're more likely to end up dead if you try and remove the chip yourself, regenerative capabilities or not.
I do not like doctors as a rule, but I can handle seeing one if I have to. It would not be the first time, although it is a rare occurrence.
And yes, I can. With enough concentration, I can mend skin and cure illness and knit bone back together with some careful physical contact and energetic channeling. Do you not have proper healers in this place?
[there is a pause on the other end of the connection before Simon speaks]
I'm not sure what kind of doctors you're used to, but where I'm from we are the 'proper healers'.
The methods I use might seem crude compared to what you're used to, but they work. In the end, a body must heal itself, and all a doctor can do is help it along.
So, yes, we do have 'proper healers' in this place...and if you're willing to help us, I would be glad to take out the chip for you.
Where I come from, doctors heal people. You go in with a cough and come out fine. You go in with a disease and come out fine. You could go in blind and come out with perfect vision, in most cases.
The thought that you people have to just wait until things heal on their own is...disturbing.
But...I am not a healer. Not trained, in any case. I run by instinct--I kill people for a living, actually. Among other things. I have healing abilities, but I am not a proper healer. And apparently there is no one here to offer training.
[Heavy sigh.]
But if I am all you have in the way of healers, I cannot really say no, can I? Just do not expect me to go out of my way to help if I can avoid it. I do not have the skill for it anyway.
No, you see, that is the thing--once I get my abilities back, I think I am probably going to have to help people. You have never dealt with a healer-sense screaming at you, but it is not the easiest sensation to block out.
And while you may be a doctor, my good sir, I am a fashion of healer, which I am beginning to see is quite different. I think that you will still end up doing far better in the realms of broken bones and whatnot, but I could take care of asthma attacks and surface wounds easily enough.
Oh, and my methods are natural. Completely and totally. Eco is a naturally-occurring energy form. You probably have a measure of it in you and do not even know it.

Scheisse. That figures.
[Frustrating almost-growling noises, trailing into a sigh.]
...A week to wait is better than just living like this, though. Who do I have to see to get this thing removed?

Is it true you can heal people?

I will say it again: you are not all we have. Don't worry, if you can't be bothered to help people, then I will continue to do so.
