Why thank you. And here I was certain I was going to have people sobbing at me and calling me rude names.

I dunno. Maybe it's a long life of getting my hands dirty, but I ain't fussed about killing those things to protect my own. Yeah they were people once. But like ya said. Key word. ONCE. As in 'Not any more'.

I can understand that. After a while it just does not really matter anymore.

I do not understand how people could not make the distinction, though. But then, it could simply be that I have spent enough time killing people--actual people, with hopes and dreams and friends and families and sometimes even children--to know the difference.

Human or not, I'm not forgiving anything that's tried to take a bite out of me.

Likewise--especially not when they actually manage it. I am going to be limping horribly until my abilities come back, really.

I already had a great conversation about this, so all I'm going to say is I can't agree with your views.

But - you're mistaken if you think I consider it a mistake to fight them. I can't speak for anyone else, but I'd do the same if it was a normal person pulling a gun on someone else.

It's sort of insulting to say I'm being disrespectful with my beliefs, you know.

You are being disrespectful, though. Your views are disrespectful--even twisted in how wrong they are. People died fighting those things, brutally and traumatically, and you feel bad for killing them? And you do not see a flaw in that?

So how do you figure I don't mourn the dead?

I don't excuse what the Reavers did, and I'm not going to question the choices people made when faced with them. I know that people died! I was out there in the middle of it, just like you.

The only thing I question is if we can truly call them inhuman without having proof. That's all.

...They ate Torn. In front of me. Ripped off swatches of his skin and chunks of muscle and shoved them into their mouths so quickly and so hard they should have choked.

I do not see what more proof you need.

I don't know about what these things are but people usually have a real problem killing things that look human-like. It's part of what makes them human.

That is rather stupid. The most dangerous enemies are the most intelligent ones, and the most intelligent ones tend to be at least mildly human-shaped. I would know from experience.

I didn't say it was smart, I said it was human.

I agree, intelligent humans are probably the biggest threat in the world. I'm not saying they shouldn't have killed whatever this threat was, but feeling guilty about it is a normal part of being human. Especially if they've never killed a human-like thing before.

Feh. I suppose I have a bad habit of giving people too much credit for their intelligence.
