[Deep breath, long exhale, moment of silence inbetween.]
Last transmission before I get this thing taken out of my neck. I do not expect to do much tomorrow, if other people's accounts of their illness following the procedure are not exaggerated.
I just wanted to tell everyone lamenting the fact that those monsters supposedly used to be people to stop. Yes, they were people once. Not my people, certainly, but still people. Human, in the dull-eared sense of the term that you all seem to see as the norm.
But you all seem to be forgetting something.
[Louder, very pointed and stern.]
They are not people anymore.
People do not violate other people until their bodies give out. People do not eat the remains of those bodies. People do not tear off other people's skin and drape it over themselves like some horrible smock.
They were people once. They are not people anymore.
None of you killed any people. You killed horrible, cruel, disgusting creatures wearing the remnants of human skin--both living skin and dead. And if they attacked again, you would do it again. I hope you would, at least.
Those of you that killed and survived do great disrespect to those who killed and died by bemoaning your decision to fight with all you had. Many of them died to protect you, or those that could not fight as you did. People are still missing from this little war of ours, and all any of you can do is sit there feeling bad that you killed creatures that used to be people? Creatures that killed your friends and your family? That tried to kill you?
Stop being stupid, get up, and help clean up the mess.
The rest of us will kill for you next time, then you will not have a right to complain.
