Spring Awakening coming to Atlanta!

When Miguel and I went to New York in 2008, I got the chance to see Spring Awakening. It was a show that Julie had seen the previous year, just after it had gotten the Tony for Best Musical. She came back raving about it, playing the soundtrack, joining fan groups and generally obsessing. So i had to go see it ( Read more... )

One day I will have money again. I swear. And when I do, I'm going to go see it.

Sadly, I can't justify even that much out of my budget at the moment, but I'll definitely keep the show in mind if finances pick up. I realized the other night that I REALLY miss going out to see live theater and concerts. It really means a lot to me, and I want to make that a priority in the future.

Even last minute I promise the show is worth it. I have been planning for this since the show was announced in October LOL

well lets see

I am pretty certain we will have on stage seats for most days we see the show I have requested already Fri 3/12 night and prob afternoon shows both sat and Sunday

after we secure those we will grab the wed, thursday tix and then the opening night 9th tixs

prob not the sat and sunday nights unless we can find a sitter or only one of us will go and then after we get the tuesday tix.

I imagine Wednesday and Thursday nights only one of us will go and may have an extra on stage seat available. They are $25 and you kinda got to be willing to follow the rules and be IN the action.

I guess I may need to be more clear. It is my ultimate goal to attend each and every show. I have earned the rights to get onstage student tickets for 3 of the shows so far (2 seats for each show). Tony is about to earn his 3 nights of tickets. After that I will try and win a pair of opening night tickets and then a 7th set of on stage tickets... bringing our show total to 8 we plan to attend in one way or another ( ... )

Thanks for laying that out. You'd recommended the group to me before, but when I looked I didn't find the post about what to do and it didn't look like it was worth the trouble. I can put up posters in coffeeshops, though, no problem.

So I will go ahead and sign up (50pt for you! MLM FTW OMG!), but I was more asking just to see if you'd like to get together before or after the show.
