Poor boys. This is how I see it; Holden finds it difficult to cope with the fact that Luke's gay. Unlike how it was on the show, he hadn't expected it beforehand. But unlike Lily, at least he realized that his son's happiness is what's most important. So while it's hard, he's just trying to be as supportive as he can be.
Don't be too worried about Reid ;)

PoorLuke he's making me worry about Reid even more. Love EmotionalLuke! He really is ruled by his emotions.
