Apple iTunes Store

I have never purchased any music from Apple iTunes, nor do I plan to. That's not a declaration of moral standards, that's just a simple and (to me) obvious economic decision. If I buy a CD in a store I've got the music in lossless non-DRM format *and* it's already stored on durable industry-standard backup media with legitimate, legal resale value. I realize that there's an element of instant gratification but I've never needed to hear a song so bad that I wasn't willing to wait a day for Amazon to send me the CD.

I *am* however tentatively willing to pay double the price for non-DRM'ed lossless music directly from the artist, although I'd still probably buy the physical album for the resale and hard-backup benefits. I am also willing to pay for DRM'ed video where the current alternative is "no Lost Season 2 eposides at all".
