matrushkaka hit and killed a large deer in Mount Ranier National Park while riding her FZR600. She is remarkably untouched, sustaining only a small bruise on her pinky finger. (Most of the time, collisions involving deer, people and motorcycles are fatal to at least two of the three involved parties

that's just incredible, i'm glad two out of three survived.
(i used to have a motorcycle-riding bf in college who told me of the hazards of riding, including hitting deer)
