Actually I am 100% sure someone else has not only done a Sandman/Inception crossover but dunnit far more eloquently (I got tired after page 4, re-read it and said WAIT WHAT IS THIS EVEN ABOUT)

( inception/sandman: cities of sand. cut for spoilers for Inception (well.. everything) and Sandman books 9 and 10 (although you have no excuse for not reading them) )

I was kind of disappointed the dream world in Inception didn't bend more rules of physics uuu (even the rotating hotel was supposedly to a law of physics lol)

eh they tried their best to stay as close to reality so the dreamer won't be able to tell the shift, i guess. 8|a but lmao how is the rotating hotel physics ... well, there was freefall using the elevator, but as for the hotel itself -- kinetic motion?? idek. it's been a while >:|a

HOLY SHIT THAT IS SUCH AN AWESOME IDEA. I'm actually kind of terrified that I didn't think of it when I watched Inception and now I feel like a dummy but oh god jesus your execution of this concept is so beautiful and nnngh

I am really really amazed. This is so inspiring! I think you just improved Inception for me.

It only occurred to me that a Sandman cameo was missing weeks after Inception haha. /sucks

IDK IDK after page 4 I thought, wait, Dream could actually guide Cobb to Saito quite easily (without Cobb ever knowing), why doesn't he. Then I got sleepy and forgot ;_; But I guess it is still okay, Dream is the sort of person/thing who likes humans but also likes.. watching humans do their thing
