Hey there guys! Man, I've missed all of you awesome people, the fandom in general, playing Sims, making shit... I had no choice but to quit Sims a few months back because I had a lot of RL stuff going on, and, while I theoretically did have enough time to participate in the community and play every now and then, I couldn't because Sims is like a

And nope, I can't do the sims in moderation either. When I had my end of school exams I gave it to a friend because I knew it wasn't safe for me to have it in the house ;)
Also; so all friendships and romances in my Simland started very romantically - with stalking and physical violence (come to think of it, maybe I should rename my Simland 'Forks' - I've never needed to use this before, but ROFL, seriously :D

Ha ha! I'm the same. I actually had to exchange my PC for my sister's laptop before exams a few years ago. One year I deleted the game from my PC all together. I've now reached a point where I can consciously stay away from sims, but only if I stay away from it completely. It's weird because when I do have the time to play as much as I want I'm quite good at not going overboard with it, but if there's a job or exam or any important obligation that has to be done that I don't feel like doing, I can't stay away. I guess I'm a bit of an escapist. :D
Heh, I try not to make fun of Twilight because it's such an easy target, but I couldn't help myself once I noticed the parallels :D.

That phone book looks pretty cool, I'll have to grab that.
And I loooove your idea of a pizza stand, I've wanted something like that for ages. There was something like it in TS1 where you could buy... I dunno, waffles or something, and I've been wondering why the heck they didn't put one into TS2.
Welcome back. :)

I don't remember that from TS1, waffles would be awesome though. If I manage to figure this out, a waffle (or muffin) one would be great for coffee shops. But I'm getting wayyy ahead of myself now.
Yes - I just saw the spying on specific sim is a mod. Heh, I've had this mod for so long, I completely forgot it wasn't a game option. (with that mod, when you click on a telescope during the day the menu says "spy on" and once you click that all neighbours appear on the sub-menu and you pick who you want to spy on)

I'm excited to hear that you've got new chapters ready, looking forward to reading them. :)
I don't think it was waffles in TS1, but something similar. It was edible anyway.
Thanks for the link to the telescope mod! I've had the one that blocks the autonomous 'spy on' interaction for a long time, but this is a lot better. :D

I'd love to! Who's 'us'? If it's half past noon for you now (if I calculated right), the chat would be somewhere around 3 in the morning for me (I'm about the same time as the UK); I'm not sure if I'll be out or sleeping, but if I'm neither - I'm there.
How often do you meet?

There's a complete lack of any semblance of a schedule in my life - I'm as likely to be awake at 5am as I am at 5pm, so I'll probably find the time to come. :)

I also understand the addiction thing, when I get into creating, etc I can't seem to stop. So I have to stop everything. I've spent hours upon hours browsing and downloading when I'm supposed to be doing an assignment. I don't have the strength to stop totally, I've tried. :)

I wish I could not stop when I start creating - I've tried making some clutter yesterday, but my computer started lagging half an hour into it (to be fair, there were two SimPes open and it was very hot), I'll try again tomorrow.
I can go overboard with downloading too. Especially when there's something I'm supposed to be doing. Maybe it's the 'forbidden fruit' thing, but sims is always at least 10 times more appealing to me when I'm supposed to be doing something else. :(
