I'm back!
Hey there guys! Man, I've missed all of you awesome people, the fandom in general, playing Sims, making shit... I had no choice but to quit Sims a few months back because I had a lot of RL stuff going on, and, while I theoretically did have enough time to participate in the community and play every now and then, I couldn't because Sims is like a drug to me and I can't do it in moderation (once I start I'm at it for hours (or days, or weeks)). I suspect many of you know exactly what I mean. :D
But now I'm back!
And I have awesome plans. Plans of awesomeness. Plans to play, make stuff, write stuff (how awesome is that anon meme btw.? I've never written porn (I haven't even read much of it tbh), but I'm giving it a shot (I'm halfway through filling out a prompt and it's going surprisingly ok (and by 'it's going surprisingly ok' I mean 'it's going, which is surprising'))...
Oh, and how great is that Phaenoh's phone book over at MTS? I've been waiting for something like that ever since that phonebook that worked with UNI stopped working with later EPs. Until now, every time I needed two sims to meet, I'd buy a telescope and have one sim spy on the other so ze'd come and beat the shit out of (and consequently meet!) the first sim, so all friendships and romances in my Simland started very romantically - with stalking and physical violence (come to think of it, maybe I should rename my Simland 'Forks' :P).
One last thing - anyone knows how to hack objects? I had this idea a while ago that it'd be awesome to have a pizza (or burger, or hot dog) stand the way there's a coffee stand. Ideally it'd work the same way the coffee thing works - you'd be able to buy a slice of pizza for yourself or for someone and eat it. I have a lot of community lots where a restaurant's just too much, but this kind of stand would be perfect.
I'm going to start looking into hacking tutorials and shit, but I'd like to know if it's even doable before putting effort into it?
