So . . . is the fact that I spent a lot of last night's party with scenes for certain fic running through my head -revenge- for giving you the link to the "I Want To Go Home!" fic? 'cause that doesn't seem fair. I mean, even if it was slash, it was "I Want To Go Home!" fic, and, dude, how else are you going to get a new Rudy fix? There'll never be a sequel, it's not one of the titles that's been bandied around for a tv series (unlike Bruno and Boots was back when I was a kid, and apparently No Coins Please is being discussed now), so, even if it's fic . . . Rudy!

Stupid Becky revenge. ~sulks~

Admittedly, it was partly about the revenge for the I Want to Go Home! slash, but it's also just a regular archnemesis-ly type thing to do, putting these sorts of ideas into your head. I wouldn't be a good archnemesis if I didn't try to do these kinds of things. (Is Gordon Korman even still writing anymore? I don't recall much of anything new coming out from him, but I haven't really looked, either, I suppose. A Bruno & Boots TV series would... I don't know, I guess it's a shame that that never happened. It'd be great fun.)

Every insult you hurl my way only makes my black heart beat more happily.

I guess things like this -do- make you a worthy archnemesis . . . maybe I should try and get an archnemesis who's incompetent. (Korman's still writing, but . . . I dunno, none of it seems to have the same life the stuff he wrote when he was young did. I mean, he's been writing these Action/Adventure type kid's novels that I see popping up constantly in used bookstores, but I tried to read one of his recent books that -sounded- like it might be funny, about the straight laced son of a mafia don . . . and man, it was just so -bland-. It didn't have the spark, you know? I was so disappointed I could have cried. I remember hearing about the potentia for a Bruno and Boots tv series when I first found the books, so that would have been, uh, mid nineties, I guess. I think there've been a couple attempts to make one, and every time it's just kind of fallen through. Which is a shame, because it would be -awesome-. I'd love a Bruno and Boots tv series, no question ( ... )

I'm surprisingly taken with the characters. I mean, I knew I liked them, but... I'm surprised at how immediate my taking to the fic was. Not that I'm complaining, I'm happily devouring what's out there already.

And, OOH, THANK YOU for the art rec! Good FujiRyo sites are difficult to come by and I'm always looking for new, good Tenipuri art and skimming the site, it does indeed look lovely so far. ♥

Dude! You read FF7 fic? :D :D :D Dude! (Cid/Vincent rules, yo. :D Fun to read AND write!)

Now I wanna play FF7 again.

*shimmers* I was afraid I would be alone in my Cid/Vincent love, since everyone seems bent on Sephiroth/Cloud or pairing Vincent up with one of the prettier people and those don't have a foul-mouthed, cantakerous Cid, so what's the fun in that? ^_~

....someday, I'm going to move there and, like, live in front of your TV and play video games for about five days straight. +__+

OMG, I didn't know you liked Good Omens! *currently doing an art project on it*

That's one of my favorite books. I will now skip off happily to read the fanfiction.

I haven't been into the fandom for long, I'd just started reading the fic! <3<3<3 I'd read the book (or at least half of it >___>) a couple of years ago, I think, but never really got around to the fandom much until recently. (Just no attention span.) And then I fell in love because, ooh, yes, such good fic. :D

*giggles* Don't thank me, startredder found it (since I'm too chicken to read most of the Gordon Korman books-based slash fic) and tried to hurt me with it, but HA. I LIKED it. It was actually really good and it's great to know there are other fans of the book out there! <3
