I guess things like this -do- make you a worthy archnemesis . . . maybe I should try and get an archnemesis who's incompetent. (Korman's still writing, but . . . I dunno, none of it seems to have the same life the stuff he wrote when he was young did. I mean, he's been writing these Action/Adventure type kid's novels that I see popping up constantly in used bookstores, but I tried to read one of his recent books that -sounded- like it might be funny, about the straight laced son of a mafia don . . . and man, it was just so -bland-. It didn't have the spark, you know? I was so disappointed I could have cried. I remember hearing about the potentia for a Bruno and Boots tv series when I first found the books, so that would have been, uh, mid nineties, I guess. I think there've been a couple attempts to make one, and every time it's just kind of fallen through. Which is a shame, because it would be -awesome-. I'd love a Bruno and Boots tv series, no question.)
