I haven't read any comics about Cable, but absolutely loved Cable & Deadpool. So... uh... I'm not sure if you're trying to say that Cable was pretty cool on his own or pretty boring? And I'm curious, because from C&D I always got the feeling I would hate reading about him on his own (too much of a savior complex/taking himself seriously) but it's true I never gave him a chance.

WHAT I AM TRYING TO SAY IS, if you feel like talking about it some more, I'm curious to know what your thoughts are!

Meanwhile, I'm going, okay, yes, Cable is kind of a total crapfest right now (I want to like that book, but it's so boring) but some of Cable's appearances in the various mainstream titles have been gold! I remember an issue of X-Men (I think? I don't think it was Uncanny...) where Jean ( ... )
