Well, I don't know about you, but I'm just glad that today's almost over.
Magazine's 50th issue is finally done. We sent it off the the printing company. FINALLY. (I'll never get tired of using that word because I deserve it.) I have no idea why it took so long for us to finish it but good Lord. That was long. I think it's a combination of endless events to attend/cover/organize and also some writer's block happening to some of us. I don't know. I don't even care anymore. But finally we are done and thank God.
Also, I lost my cell phone today. It's an old thing - an old Nokia that my mom kept for emergency; when my old cell phone was broken, I used it because it constituted as 'emergency' - so it's not like the device is highly valuable. But this means now I have to buy a new phone and probably a smartphone, which means I'll finally get to join the 21st century. In 2014. It took me, what, 13 years to move on from 'old' technology?
But anyway. Christmas is here and there's a day off for me in the picture. Two days off, to be exact, plus the weekend, although I have to attend the monthly editorial meeting on Friday. (My chief editor just can't wait to put together the next issue. Thinking about it already makes me want to cry.)
Remind me to also watch 47 Ronin because I didn't get to watch it at all as my cell phone went missing right before the movie started.
