It's weird because I don't know how to write a proper comment to this. I love the story but I hate the precipitating cause. Does that make sense? I think Cristina is so loyal that once she decided to be with someone she would stick and in the situation with Owen, I don't find this far fetched at all. I just hate it for her.

That said, I think you handled it beautifully. Burke is there when he needs to be and Cristina gets to have all of her *family* to help her well and truly heal.

I understand completely- the circumstances fit and it's absolutely something I don't want to see happen and not just because there's no way that Burke would come back, haha.

Cristina is incredibly loyal and I'm really scared it will get her hurt. :(

Thank you so much for the awesome comment though, I really appreciate it. And thank you for reading. :)

Holy god, I really do love this so fucking much. Your characterization is just fantastic here and I love how you handled this. It's not exactly a happy topic and you did so, so well with this fic. I am especially fond of Alex here, which you already are aware of, and enjoyed all of his scenes immensely.

LOVE.

Thank you for the awesome comment! I'm glad you liked it. I was nervous when I sent it to you last night because it seriously had no point. I just wrote. And this is what came out. So for you to love it, I'm kinda happy about that.

Thanks!

I like the way you told this story. Burke isn't one of my favorite characters, and I don't really like that Owen hurt Cristina, but the story was told well. Everyone's mostly in character, too. I like your storytelling voice. :)

Wow! You make me miss Burke! Which usually I don't do. But you managed to make me miss Burke. Especially with Owen being the messed up guy that he is.

Wonderful story and great writing.

This is going to be long (blame it on the Easter eggs!) but really I loved every single word :)

Couple of bits I liked the most:

She’d just watch him, make deep wounds with her words every few minutes but never really raise her voice. -- you seriously have Cristina down to an absolute T.

After she gets her straightened out, she reaches out for the chapstick that she bought in the gift shop and mumbles an apology for the bubble gum flavor and puts it on her lips. -- I always love the small details and I really like the way that Meredith is taking care of Cristina - that is what your "person" does.

There’s no big bleeds, no huge active processes. It’s all of these little things, taking her apart bit by bit, all of these little meaningless injuries that compile into one big problem. -- This is what scares me about what I see on screen.

Maybe him and Yang weren’t the best of friends but she’s one of his people and dammit, he’s running low on them these days with Izzie gone and O’Malley dead and Meredith all shoved up Shepherd’s ass. ( ... )
