"Did you have a seizure while making this chair?"

The Real WorldI appear to have a car. It needs a little work done, but between my dad's help and the help of a client (who's getting free services from me in return), that should be taken care of. It's a dorky little '87 VW Quantum, and in pretty damn good shape for a 21-year-old car. Kind of cute, actually. ♥ It's growing on me, the way a mentally ( Read more... )

Actually, Wal-mart might not be such a bad choice. They do offer pretty good benefits to full-time employees, from what I've heard. Yeah, it's retail hell, but it could actually be a good option.

I think the Quantum is just a car that has 1987 stamped all over it, regardless of the year. XD

Mm, link to the RPs? I might know someone. D:

Point. It still won't be my first choice, but it probably is a good option, pragmatically speaking.

No joke! XD; It is kinda cute, though. It plays door music. |D;

notanotherhsrpg and pot_university. I actually think the latter's been around a while. This is really me being lazy; I haven't taken much of a look at either of them. >>;

No, it wouldn't be mine, either. But from a pratical standpoint, it's not a bad choice.

*dies* ~Door music~? That's a thing of beauty right there.

The latter... I recognize a couple of the names on the reserve list and the mod has been around the fandom quite a while, but that's not very helpful. No idea about the former. D:

Yeah, it's this cute little three-note tune that plays whenever the door's open and the car's on. XD;

I think the former's off the list, but the latter... I've reserved Jirou, because I figure it can't hurt. I'll keep looking around and eyeing the app.

I'd agree with you if I didn't already have a cat. My cat kind of got integrated into the family because no one put any real effort into chasing her off.

Anyway, I wouldn't argue with the family getting another cat, except that it'll be labeled 'Falon's cat,' and then she'll play Nazi with it, and she and Miranda will fight over it all the time. Since it'll be 'her cat,' I won't be able to step it (like I do when they fight over my cat) and tell them to quit being retards. ;;

Eh. I'm a little less skeptical about the uni RP at the moment, actually, because I just caught sight of someone I really Do Not Want to RP with at the highschool one. Still not sure on either, though. *muses.*

I was curious about the tenipuri rps too. I know I'm definitely not interested in the university one because of the confusing setting and such. but idk. I really want to be part of a tenipuri rp though. :( It's been a while.

I didn't think the uni RP was confusing, just... vague. I reserved Jirou, but I'm not committing to anything just yet. I've decided to definitely avoid the highschool one, though, because I don't much like the look of the cast.

If you find anything awesome, tell me! D: Also, you should link me to your contact info post, 'cos I'm too lazy to find it and I wanna talk to yoooou~ ♥

The list of all the teachers didn't scare you? Ahaha, because I was like "WOAH" when I saw the list. I really want to join just to see how it is though. I'm itching to be part of a Tenipuri RP again. What's up with the cast for the high school one? FILL ME IN. I'm so out of touch in the fandom now.

Will definitely. 8) I miss all the people I used to RP with aslkdjsdf. Same here! I'll link you after I get back~

Nah, but I did frown a little inside when I saw that they switched the order of names a few times (Ryuuzaki Sumire, Wataname Osamu, then Tarou Sakaki, for some reason). You should come play! I think I'm trying to drag people into the uni game with me.

As for the high school one - I wasn't especially impressed with some of the applications I saw, and to boot, there's someone there I'd rather not play with if I can help it. (I like her well enough, so don't ask me to name her - I just don't want to play with her.)

I've...vaguely played with the mod of the university set RP. She scares me a little because she is in one game I'm in (pot_lj) and...she spams with all three of her characters. She feels she has to post everyday or the game will die. (Which it won't, but that's a whole other rant. It's fairly active.)

I don't know anything about the HS one. I just know the last time I was in one like that that it died within about a month. :(

To be honest, pot_lj scares me a little. XD; Spamming isn't so bad, though, as long as there's something remotely interesting there.

Eh, dying RPs is a calculated risk, I think. It takes a lot to make and keep a game successful, so more of them die than succeed, I think. :/ Sad, but true.

It was once marvelous. Glorious and such. Then things started to change. /sadface

It's not too scary. There's just a lot of people, and a lot of people with multiple personality disorder (like me :P) in it. And spamming isn't bad, but it sometimes gets a bit annoying to see the same characters post EVERY SINGLE DAY! >.> My eyes have started glazing over sometimes.

And that's very true. It does take a lot to keep a game going. That's why I don't mod any anymore. It's too much sometimes to encourage people to participate.

I thought how they advertised the RP (especially the one where the tables turned turning them into teachers) was pretty decent. It made me want to RP, too, but I've never done it before, so... meh. XD

Oh, the advertising was clever enough; that's why I went to check out the game. I just wasn't especially impressed with any of it.

And anyway, you've got to start somewhere, right? ;D
