so, basically, I'm balls-to-the-wall insane, now.
at CD, I have five kids, currently (one Hyoutei, one Higa, one Seigaku, two Shiten), and am working on a sixth (another Shiten). last night sometime, someone put the idea for a seventh in my head (would be Rikkai, transplanted from Jyousei

your characterization was wonderful. I absolutely adored Zaizen - I had such a time getting a grip on him to play him, and while reading your fic, I just kept thinking how well my interpretation and yours jived. I think mine's a little less inherently angry and more easily hurt, but they come so close, and it was sort of validating; reading your fic, I was thinking, 'so it's not just me who sees him like this? awesome.' Kenya, too - he's actually a mystery to me, for some reason, so anyone who can do him well has my respect. he was solid, here. Shiraishi could have been more lively, I think, but he was wonderful, and for some reason, I loved that little bit of tension between he and Osamu, right before ( ... )

I loved that scene, and I really am intrigued by your Koharu and Yuuji. ♥ This is me encouraging you to write fic about them.
I love it when little details line up with canon - my Kite has been a Scorpio since forever, so when 40.5 confirmed his birthday as November 9, I was totally happy. ♥ Zaizen, on the other hand, I was expecting to be an Aquarius, and Cancer threw me for a loop. That's part of the reason it took me so long to sort him out; I was stuck on the idea that he was one thing, and he was trying very hard to be another thing entirely. He's pretty level now, though (or as level as he ever gets, anyway). He lives over at dj_zaiger... he's in bed with Kenya and Shiraishi both. ;D ( ... )

I can't say much for myself in terms of encouraging, though - really, I don't have a whole lot of patience with people in general, especially if I think I'm better than they are (which is often. I'm arrogant, yes).
I won't argue with what you said about characterization; you're right, after all. There's no set way that a character should be written, but in my opinion, there are some ways they shouldn't be written. See above. There are some pretty extreme stereotypes floating around for every school, and I tend to violently dislike most all of them ( ... )

No, I'm not making sense anymore, I think.
