SO. I let Wybie's sponsored account run out, so I could get him a paid one with a crapton of extra userpics. It ran out yesterday but now? Now I can't change it to a paid. It still thinks it's sponsored, even though it very clearly is NOT. When I'm logged in, the main LJ page is in freakin' Russian, which I can't read. When I click on his account, ( Read more... )

Maybe if you pay for his account through another account? Like as a gift?

Nope, tried that one. I just get told I can't buy a sponsored account paid time. I've sent a message to the support team, but lord knows when I'll hear back.

yeah I get russian a lot with Draco's. Have you tried moving it to basic one first and then a paid one?

That's what I'm trying to do. I cancelled the sponsorship, and now it won't let me do anything else with it.

Christina's having the same problem with her Eliot account. She opened up a help ticket with LJ, but I don't know what happened after that. :\

Phew, I'm so glad it's not just me then. Grrr, it's like it's sponsored, but it's not. It doesn't want to let go D:
