[ Good job there, Sunohara. Now Kotomi literally isn't moving at all-- she's just sitting motionless (she's not even blinking, special Kotomi talent there) on the spot she had been sitting on her knees all this time. ]

[ten minutes later, sunohara appears. out of breath and nearly doubled over-- he'd sprinted, okay. in his left hand is a baseball bat, which he has yet to ... attempt to use on anything. and hopes he won't have to.]

Kotomi-chan!

[ There's a curious glance at the bat - she doesn't quite realise its use. Or rather, she's questioning why he would be playing baseball at a time like this. Then she stares upward at him. ]

... Is it okay for me to move now, Sunohara-kun?

... Oh, yeah. Go ahead!

[he beckons her over then, keeping the baseball bat close at his side.]

You can run fast, right? Cuz we're gonna have to run back the apartments.

[ She stands up (probably slower than one should in a situation like this) and idly brushes some dirt off her skirt. ]
