I have been broke for a few weeks now and it just sucks!  I was working part-time in the summer because of a medical thing so that really screwed us up and then our daughter started school and couldn't afford her truck payments so guess who gets to bail her out?  I am back to full time as of last week so hopefully in a bit all will be well, but it ( Read more... )

The family and I are leaving tomorrow for the Vancouver Convention for Supernatural.  We are going as far as Calgary, then driving the rest of the way on Tuesday.  Am I a nervous wreck?  You betcha!   Can't wait to meet some of you there!

I've had a bitch of a week.

1. I couldn't get into the doctor so I was off the meds for about a week.  Yeah, I've been bawling like a baby.
2. The boss was wanting a 1 on 1 to discuss my absenteeism (due to the non-medicated depression).
3. My Dad had a heart attack last Friday.  (He's only 60) He's okay though and already out of the hospital.

Here are the things that happened this past week:

#1: On a road trip our car broke down on the highway about 45 minutes from our destination.   The three of us walked 2 miles to the nearest town’s gas station, down the highway and over farm fields. Called a tow truck, then we then walked back to our car to wait. We had our car towed to the nearest ( Read more... )

We've been really busy!  We had our youngest's Grade 8 Grad on June 19 and our oldest's Grade 12 Grad on June 25 and we went away camping for  the July long weekend.  So...I am now posting a few pictures of the Grad's!
