She waited politely until he had switched off the mic before singing softly.
"I will always be by your side;
I will protect you~"

"Michiru-san," he exclaims, a smirk showing on his lips, "I should have known you would be able to do that better than me, huh?"
Walking over to the couch in the middle of the room, he retrieves his guitar and pads the seat next to him with his hand to indicate he wants her to sit down.
"Join me, yeah?"

But she joined him on the couch. Playing with music was something she felt she needed now. "High notes need a slightly softer touch than most, ne?"

"I don't know about that, Michiru-san," he opened his eyes and looked at her, playing the first few notes of the melody on his guitar again, "I'm not the type who does soft well, yeah?"
Pursing his lips as he sang the few lines he'd actually got written until now, he allowed her the silence to herself before looking back up at her, cocking his head.
"You don't write lyrics, do you?"
It was meant as a challenge, but he couldn't help the slightly hopeful grin that took over his face.
