I have to watch it in total darkness just to make out a lot of things and even then.

GODDAMMIT! I was kind of hoping it was just the tv. It was horrible, i was like straining my eyes trying to make stuff out and thinking "i KNOW i could see this much better in the theatre! What the HELL." It's like they adjusted the whole thing according to what things look like on Miranda, because Miranda is really blown-out with the whiteness, but on the dvd it looks normal and everything else is way too dark. ARGH.

Yeah, well, it's probably too classy for you, being One Tree Hill's number one fan and all. No teenage orgies and Chad Michael Murray playing basketball and such. :/ Have you seen any of season two? The best scene is when Lee is almost entirely naked! WOOOOOOOOOOO.

That's the one! Yeah, he takes off his clothes a couple times, but that's the most significant. Only about an inch away from full frontal! Lee/Tiny Towel is everyone's favorite 'ship, even moreso than Kara/Lee i think.

One thing that bugged me, just from watching it on the dvd, it all seemed very dark. It may have just been our tv, but man. Having seen it four times in the theatre, i noticed a significant difference in the light levels.THANK YOU! I knew it couldn't just be my imagination, it made me very sad. And also, I opened it and put it in before I realized that my sister had bought me FULLSCREEN. UGHHHHHHHHHHH. I have to come up with a reason for them to let me exchange it even though it's opened, used, and I have no receipt. Some movies, you can make do with fullscreen, but the shots on this film are so beautifully wiiiiiiiiiiiide that the cropping is actually painful and terrifyingly noticeable ( ... )

Oh and P.S. where's the Tim/Dawn representation in the shipping, huh? I know I'm really one to talk since I don't have a Tim/Dawn icon but still! I know how it is though, the crazy love fades a tad after a while of not watching, but then you watch twelve seconds of one scene and you're like "TIM AND DAWN SHARE THE TRUEST LOVE THIS WORLD HAS EVER SEEN!"

I know, i'm sorry! But it HAS been a while since i saw any of The Office. Although i watched Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy the other day (and Shaun of the Dead before that!) so Martin and Lucy in other roles made me think of Tim and Dawn and i was all "I NEED TO RE-WATCH THE OFFICE!"

I almost listed the icon you commented with as my favorite of yours, because Tim as the Fisher Price man consistently cracks me up, not only because it is adorable, but also because it is TRUE. TIIIIIIIIIM!

I am very depressed that the dvd is actually that dark for everyone! Honestly, i could not even SEE Simon when he got shot. It suuuuuucked. :( But oh man, fullscreen? FULLSCREEN? Who the fuck buys fullscreen? They shouldn't even offer it, it's only there for people to accidentally buy when they really want widescreen. And i agree, with Serenity in particular, every shot is so beautifully framed, you NEED it to be widescreen to get the full prettiness effect ( ... )

I actually saw the gag reel online before the dvd came out, it's so hilarious and the cast is so adorable. But i'm not sure if anything can beat the extended series gag reel, because that was the funniest shit i've eeeeeever seen.

I can't believe BSG is back NEXT WEEK. IT'S BEEN SO LONG!! Will you get it at the same time, or do you have to download or something? I never know with you other countries.

That song looks completely awesome. Ahahahaha HAAAN. George Lucas calls him HAAAN too. WHY? WHYYYYY?!??! It's not Han as in "hand", it's Han as in "john"!

Guys, how comes Regina's icons are so random and awesome?

Because I am clinically insane. That's what it's like in my head all the time, man. Just gay boys and ding dongs and Mandy Moore AND JOKES THAT DON'T MAKE SENSE.

(I've watched Serenity on DVD all of seven times now and I STILL have to watch with my hands over my eyes when it all goes Red. The first three times? I COULDN'T WATCH.)
