making a living and making a killing

So you know what's the cutest thing ever? The latest cover of Entertainment Weekly. I LOVE IT. I don't even really care about Jim/Pam anymore (TRAGICALLY), and yet that picture makes me goofy happy. AWWWWW. I've been catching reruns of season three recently which makes the fact that they are now getting married and having a baby seem even CRAZIER. ( Read more... )

I was nodding my head so hard when Topher suggested they put her original personality back and she told him she doesn't want to die. That's it exaaaaaaaactly.
Exaaaaaactly.

Also, Amy Acker is good at acting!
She totally is!

(side note: WHYYYY is she still a guest star?? Shouldn't she be a regular? WTF?)
She is a regular.

...On Happy Town.

Echo's storyline: the most tedious part of the episode.
The most tedious part of ANY episode.

flashback to Whiskey/Echo almost-kissing. :]

I DID NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS. I HAD NOT HEARD OF HAPPY TOWN. That's disappointing. :( Well, not for Amy Acker. But for my enjoyment of Dollhouse.

Yes, it is very sad and disappointing. And Happy Town just sounds like Twin Peaks: Revisited.

It does! It also sounds to me like a show that's bound to be cancelled, if not early on then certainly after one season.

TOPHER/SAUNDERRRRRS. Omg omg omg. The thing about DH is that when it was just a much-hyped NEW WHEDON SHOW back in the day, Topher was one of the characters I was most excited for, and then the show came out, and he was...slimy and disgusting! And though I bore a certain "oh ew ew EW what a strange little freak of a man" gross-fascination-style fondness for him, I did not enjoy him nearly as much as I expected to, even though he started getting a bit less gross and more interesting and amusing later on. (METAPHOR FOR SHOW AS A WHOLE: DISCUSS.) And then I LOVED HIM AND SAUNDERS IN WAYS I HAD NOT EXPECTED. AT ALL. SO EXCITING. They make me feel thingssss. Oh, Dollhouse! Sometimes you are actually really fucking creepy and excellent, instead of...wanting to be creepy and excellent, and just being creepy-and-not-in-a-good-way ( ... )

LOLOLOL, NICELY OBSERVED. I tend to half-like/half-hate Topher, but i think i grew to like him even when i know i shouldn't and have every reason not to. EFFFFFFFFFF. That is awesome that you're way into Topher/Saunders, i like to not be alone in my confusing shippy feelings. MAN they were just OUTTA CONTROOOOOOOOLLLLLLLL in this episode and now i ship it hard. Creator/Created! CRAZY MANIPULATIVE ALMOST-HATESEX WHAT. AGH

Apparently she is still a guest star because she has been cast in another show, which means she must go soon? ;______;

DO NOT WANT. I always get nervous when characters i like are still only guest starring, but then i was hopeful after watching Epitaph One and getting a glimpse into the future where all the characters are still around. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO BELIEVE.

I wish SO HARD that Echo's conversation about finally being self- ( ... )

I THINK WE ALL NEED TO RESIGN OURSELVES TO THE FACT THAT PEGGY SIMPLY MAKES THE WORST ROMANTIC DECISIONS EVER. EVERRRRR. It is truly a tragedy of epic, mind-bleaching proportions.

On the one hand, it was interesting seeing all these vague father figures taking away his CHAIR and how apparently he responds like a petulant child to that, but at the same time, STOP ACTING LIKE A PETULANT CHILD, DONALD.

Who does he think he is, Pete Campbell??
